These terms apply to the use of www.mintafoundry.com and to the products of Minta Foundry KLG ("we", "us"): sample packs, presets and audio plug-ins, paid or free. Please read them before buying. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights the law of your country gives you.
1. Who we are

2. How buying works
Our checkout is run by Moonbase (Moonbase AS, Norway, or for some U.S. orders Moonbase LLC), an authorised reseller of our products and the merchant of record. When you buy, your purchase contract is with Moonbase, under the Moonbase Terms and Conditions for Buyers, which you accept at checkout. Moonbase collects the payment, issues your receipt, calculates and pays sales tax/VAT, and handles refunds and chargebacks. The seller is named on your order confirmation.
We are the maker of the products. We grant you the licence to use them (section 6), deliver the downloads through your customer account and are your first contact for support.
3. Products and prices
All products are digital and delivered as downloads; nothing is shipped. Product pages describe what is included and, for plug-ins, the supported formats and system requirements. Please check them before buying. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Sales tax or VAT for your country, and any discounts from coupons or products you already own, are calculated at checkout before you pay. Bundles may be offered at a reduced price if you already own some of the products in them.
4. Delivery
Your products are available right after payment in your customer account at mintafoundry.com/account, and you receive an order confirmation by email. If you checked out without an account, the confirmation email lets you set a password for the account created with your purchase. Free products also require an account.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content this right ends once the download or delivery starts, provided you agreed at checkout that delivery may start immediately and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. The Moonbase checkout asks for this consent, and your receipt confirms it. Withdrawals and refunds are handled by Moonbase as the seller under its buyer terms.
If something is wrong with a product (it won't download, install or work as described), please contact us first at yo@mintafoundry.com. We will fix it, and if we can't, we will arrange a refund.
6. Licences
You buy a licence to use our products, not the products themselves. Licences are personal, perpetual (except for subscriptions, see section 7) and non-transferable unless we agree in writing.
- Sounds and presets (including sounds inside our plug-ins) may be used in your own music and productions, royalty free, under our Royalty-Free License Agreement. You may not resell, share or redistribute them as samples, presets or sound libraries, on their own or as part of another product.
- Plug-ins may be installed and activated on the number of devices shown in your account. You can remove a device from your account to activate another one. You may not share licence keys or accounts, or copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it.
We may deactivate licences that are shared, resold, obtained through fraud or reversed by an unjustified chargeback.
7. Subscriptions and rent to own
Some products may be offered as a subscription with monthly payments ("rent to own"). You can use the product while your subscription is active. Once you have made the number of payments shown at checkout, you own a perpetual licence and the payments stop. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your account; access continues until the end of the paid period, and if you cancel before reaching ownership the licence ends then. Payments made are not refunded, except as required by law.
8. Your account
Please give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity in your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, licence abuse or attacks on the site. You can ask us to close your account at any time; your purchases remain on record with Moonbase for legal reasons.
9. Updates and support
We provide updates and bug fixes for our plug-ins as part of the product, free of charge, for as long as we continue to develop them. We aim to keep them compatible with current operating systems and plug-in hosts but cannot guarantee compatibility with future versions. Support is by email.
10. Liability
We make our products with care, but we cannot promise they will be free of errors or suit every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the product concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage such as lost data, lost profits or interrupted work. Please keep backups of your projects. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to injury to life, body or health, or to any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Intellectual property
All products, sounds, software, artwork, texts and the website are owned by us or our partners and protected by copyright. Apart from the licence in section 6, no rights are transferred to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published when you buy applies to that purchase. Changes to subscriptions are announced in advance by email.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The courts at our registered office have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim before the courts there. Matters concerning the purchase contract with Moonbase (payment, refunds, chargebacks) are governed by the Moonbase buyer terms. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, but we are always happy to resolve problems directly: just email us.
